Emmie attended her first Detroit Piston's game during our visit. After we found our seats, Eric took the girls down to the floor to get some pictures. Initially they were told they could not go on the floor with everyone else, but then a kind usher, allowed them for a few pictures. The atmosphere had Emmie awestruck as she did not know where to look first.
They returned to our seats for the introduction of the Chicago Bull players and then the Detroit Pistons. The girls had fun watching and cheering for the Pistons throughout the game. We snacked on a large bucket of popcorn while watching the intense game. They thought the entertainment was fun too. During the third quarter time-out, Adeline appeared on the Jumbotron with her crazy dancing to Jingle Bell Rock. She thought it was so neat to be on the large television screen.
We were on our feet for the last few minutes of the game, when the Pistons came back to tie the game and send it into overtime. It was too bad they lost 92 to 95 in the last few seconds, but it was a fantastic family outing.
After the game, Eric took Adeline onto the floor where she could take a shot. Unfortunately, she is still a little small to make a basket, but her effort was 110%.
