Changing the letters from PRTM to PWC

This press release, PWC completes acquisition of PRTM, jump started our Monday. Eric is now part of the PricewaterhouseCoopers team. It will be a new and interesting area to explore in the large consulting firm. With the change, Eric already knows it means different software as he already knows he will acquire a new laptop, more paperwork to be filled out, and stricter guidelines when traveling for work.

For us it means paperwork to fill out and understanding how our situation will be handled since we are a special case. We already know it will take some weeks before we start receiving information, as both companies are dealing with the mainstream employees first.

Monday afternoon at guitar lessons, Adeline got to try out a rock-n-roll guitar. She thought it was really cool.

On Wednesday, Emmie stayed and had lunch with her class. I have to sign her up two weeks in advance, so this was earliest date for lunch she could have. She was thrilled to be with her friends and eat. Her meal was whitefish with sauce, potatoes, salad, and watermelon. After picking her up, she told me how much she liked her lunch, got to put the sauce on her fish, and gobbled up the watermelon. After hearing this menu, I am thinking maybe I should sign up.

Thursday evening, was Adeline's Elternabend at her school. The meeting went smoothly and I was able to comprehend majority of it.  This year is when the students start getting grades for their studies, so the grading scale was discussed for German, Math and the other studies. We have requested Adeline to be removed from English class since it is early learning of colors, numbers, etc... and we hope she will be able to have more one on one German conversation during this time doing simple activities to broaden her vocabulary. It will be another interesting educational year for us as we learn along the way and a fun year with the outings the teacher has planned.
