We kicked off the Christmas season on Thursday afternoon by making our family advent wreath. Karolin invited us over to show us how to make our advent wreath. This a tradition she has been doing since she was little and we are very happy she wanted to share this with us.
Karoline and Adeline first cut the fresh evergreen branches into small pieces and then we carefully wrapped them around the straw wreath with twine to create our main piece. Adeline made her own while Emmie and I constructed the family one. The kids then strategically placed the candles and decorations around the top to complete them.
We finished our afternoon with hot chocolate and tasty Christmas cookies.
