We spent the warm afternoon planting flowers in our backyard. After Adeline came home from her gardening class, she instructed Henrik and Emmie how to prepare the flower beds, remove the flowers from the containers, and plant the flowers. Henrik and Emmie worked together planting flowers and Adeline worked alone, although at times she got some help from Bandit with shuffling dirt around. Bandit ended up with a black nose by the time the activity was over with. I think the best part for the kids was watering the flowers as I think there was more water on them than on the flowers. It was a fun afternoon.
